Kesi fan is a kind of fan made of kesi fabric. Kesi, also known as "carved silk", is an extremely exquisite fabric that became popular in the Song Dynasty. It means "silk carved with a knife", and some scholars praised it as "carved silk". It is a treasure among Chinese textiles.

The kesi table screen has the same shape as the single-fan seat screen, but it is smaller in size. It is often placed on a table and serves as a small ornamental screen for display and decoration. Therefore, it is also called a table screen in the Jiangnan region.
